The Shirley Police Department is accepting applications for a full-time police officer. We are a community-focused agency dedicated to proactive policing and best practices. Protect life and property by enforcing laws and regulations. Prevent and investigate crimes; conduct traffic enforcement. Respond to emergencies and calls for service. Patrol assigned areas, perform security checks, and assist the public. Investigate accidents and incidents;
prepare accurate reports for comi proceedings. Provide counseling and referrals during disputes and non-criminal matters. Perform special assignments as directed.
