Job Summary:
This position is responsible for implementing and monitoring the agency's federally mandated Equal Opportunity Programs. This position provides guidance and training onequal opportunity requirements, investigates internal complaints of discrimination and applicant complaints for the agency. Ensures compliance with federal and state laws,rules, statutes, regulations and policies by providing support to the Equal Opportunity Office.
This position may offer the ability to work remotely, within Arizona, based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.

Job Duties:- Implement, monitor, and ensure agency compliance with all mandated program requirements. Develop and refine processes as needed toensure continuous improve. Collaborate with the agency Equal Opportunity Program and Employee Relations team on investigations and complaints.
- Oversee the processes involving internal employee discrimination under Title VII to ensure compliance. Investigate employee complaints of discrimination and prepare reports & documents as well as resolve employee and management concerns.
- Develop and conduct virtual and in-person training of internal Equal Opportunity program areas to include items such as Equal Opportunity Employment (EEO), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA) and religious accommodations. Attend and represent the agency's Equal Opportunity Program at meetings, presentations and training events.
Knowledge in:
- Federal and State Civil Rights laws, regulations, statutes, policies and procedures.
- Agency equal opportunity compliance policies and procedures.
- Civil Rights compliance and investigations processes.
- State transportation programs and/or local government transportation programs.
- Statistical and/or auditing principles.
- Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
- FMLA. PPL, LTD, STD and other Leave Management and/or Benefit programs.
Skill in/with:

Two years of experience working in equal employment opportunity, non-discrimination or compliance or a combination of education and experience in thefield.
