This position is located in the Office for Disarmament Affairs, New York. The Political Affairs Officer will report to the Chief of Unit. The Unit is responsible for facilitating the elaboration of a legally binding treaty establishing a Middle East zone free of nuclear and other weapons of mass destruction, on the basis of arrangements freely arrived at by the States of the region.
