The City and County of Denver offers competitive pay commensurate with education and experience.  New hires are typically brought into the organization between $26.84 - $30.20 an hour, based on experience and education.  We also offer generous benefits for full-time employees which include but are not limited to:

The schedule is Tuesday - Saturday, with Saturday hours from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.##

Denver’s City Attorney’s Office, Prosecution and Code Enforcement (PACE), is seeking a Victim Advocate to join our team. In this role, you will support victims of municipal crimes of all ages by providing compassionate assistance, referrals, and resources throughout all stages of the criminal justice process.

Specifically, as a PACE Victim Advocate, you will:
* Respond to crisis calls, provides information on the criminal justice process:
The Victim Advocate candidate will accompany victims to court, assist with obtaining protection orders, answer questions about court cases, offer safety planning, provide referrals to community resources, and staff cases with the prosecutorial team.
* Attend Meetings:
The victim advocate may also attend meetings with collaborative partners and represent the City Attorney's Office in such meetings.
* Contact crime victims by phone or mail to explain victim rights, provide information and answer questions about the criminal process, provide victim impact statements, review police reports, assess risk factors, and provide safety planning.
