The West Hartford Police Department is seeking qualified applicants for the Public Safety Dispatcher role in its 24/7 Emergency Reporting Center. The position requires handling 911 and routine calls for Police, Fire and EMS, and coordinating resources with West Hartford Fire and EMS services.
Dispatchers work 8-hour shifts with a 5/2 or 4/2 days on/off schedule; schedule bids are based on seniority. Applicants must be eligible for certification, maintain a valid license, and meet citizenship
