Hair and Makeup Supervisor Cast Party Theatrics Rochelle, NY

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Hair & Makeup Supervisor to join our production team for multiple theatrical productions throughout Westchester County during the 2026–2027 season.

The Hair & Makeup Supervisor will work with each production’s creative team to oversee and execute the hair, wig, and makeup needs of the show.

• Design and create makeup plots for each production
• Apply theatrical and character makeup as needed and oversee makeup application for performers
• Apply, secure, blend, remove, and maintain multiple pre-styled lace-front wigs per production
• Assist with performer hair preparation for wig application
• Maintain wigs throughout rehearsals and performances, including proper storage and general upkeep
• Organize hair, wig, and makeup supplies and communicate necessary purchases to the production team
• Attend production meetings to establish the specific hair and makeup needs of each show
• Be present for designated rehearsals, dress rehearsals, performances, and preparation calls based on the needs of each production

Please note:
Lace-front wigs will be provided pre-styled. This position does not require cutting or styling the wigs.

Candidates should have experience with theatrical hair and makeup and be comfortable applying and maintaining lace-front wigs. The ideal candidate should be confident working with multiple performers and completing wig and makeup changes efficiently in a backstage environment.

Experience working in educational, youth, community, or professional theatre is a plus.

This is a production-based position
, and the needs and time commitment will vary for each show. Specific responsibilities, rehearsal/performance calls, and expectations will be discussed at the production meeting for each production
