Position Overview:The Beautician/Cosmetologist will provide high quality, personalized salon services to our residents in our comfortable, on-site salon. You will assist residents in feeling their best while building meaningful relationships in a healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide haircuts, styling, shampooing and grooming services to residents.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of salon equipment and space
- Schedule appointments and manage service records
- Communicate with nursing staff to coordinate resident care
- Uphold infection control and safety standards
- Foster a friendly, respectful, and comforting environment
- Valid state cosmetology license
- Prior experience working with seniors or in a healthcare setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and with compassion
- Familiarity with infection control procedures
