# New Talent Stylist - All Locations## Job Details Entry Full  Time Non-ExemptPA State Licensed $15.00 Hourly## Description New talent is onboarded into our AVEDA concept salons with in depth development to specialize in either style or color services, and prepare them for behind the chair. The experience begins with general assisting for a brief period, followed by advanced training with our salon educators.

This will provide extensive technical skills, the opportunity to observe day-to-day operations of a busy salon, provide the necessary elements to deliver outstanding customer service, and offer an understanding of retail and guest retention.

New talent supports stylists and colorists in their daily activities; along with supporting our organization's experience standards and commitment to guest care. As they become proficient in certain services during their training, new talent will begin booking appointments for those services. Training with our educators will continue until they are skilled in all services. At that time, new talent will book appointments on the floor full-time, marking the completion of their training.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Uphold the Adolf Biecker Standards
* Shampooing of guests
* Performing stress relieving treatment
* Giving hand and arm massage
* Assisting stylists and colorists
* Care of salon laundry and general housekeeping
* Offering guests beverages
* Selling of Aveda products
* Attending advanced training workshops
* Performing guest services## Qualifications
* Pennsylvania State Cosmetology License: or at a minimum, have the exam scheduled to attain the license
* Full-time open availability with limited scheduling restrictions
* Excellent communication skills
* Professional, fashion forward image
