Old Edwards Reserve at Lake Keowee is seeking a licensed, service-oriented Esthetician to provide professional esthetic services to members and clients in a luxury private club environment. This is an independent contractor (1099), revenue-share opportunity. The Esthetician is expected to deliver exceptional service, maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and professionalism, and create a welcoming, personalized experience for each client.

• Perform a wide range of esthetic treatments, including facials, dermabrasion, waxing, brow tinting, and other appropriate esthetic services with precision and professionalism.
• Conduct client consultations, assess individual skincare needs and preferences, and recommend appropriate services within the scope of the Esthetician's professional license.
• Build trust and lasting relationships with members and clients through attentive, discreet, and personalized service.
• Maintain strict compliance with applicable safety requirements, infection-control practices, sanitation standards, and professional licensing requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional treatment space before, during, and after services.
• Manage appointment bookings, confirmations, scheduling changes, and cancellations in coordination with Old Edwards Reserve procedures.
• Communicate professionally and promptly regarding appointments, service needs, and client concerns.
• Maintain client confidentiality and exercise discretion consistent with a luxury private club environment.

Services are offered on Mondays. Appointment times are flexible and may vary based on bookings, client demand, and the mutually agreed availability of the independent contractor.

This is a 1099 independent contractor position compensated through a revenue-share arrangement. The Esthetician will receive 80% of applicable service revenue. Old Edwards Reserve will collect payment from members and clients and administer the agreed revenue share in accordance with the independent contractor agreement.

Old Edwards Reserve will provide the treatment bed and heated towels for services performed on property. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the independent contractor is responsible for providing the professional products, tools, materials, and other supplies necessary to safely perform the contracted esthetic services.

• Current South Carolina Esthetician license in good standing.
• Current professional liability insurance appropriate for the esthetic services provided, with proof of coverage maintained throughout the contractor relationship.
• Knowledge of sanitation, infection control, client safety, and professional skincare practices.
• Strong consultation, communication, organization, and client-service skills.
• Ability to independently manage appointments and provide consistent, high-quality services.
• Professional appearance and demeanor appropriate for a luxury private club environment.

Previous experience in a luxury spa, resort, private club, or high-end hospitality environment is preferred.

This position is intended to be an independent contractor relationship and not an employment relationship. The Esthetician is responsible for maintaining all required licenses, insurance, professional qualifications, tax obligations, and other responsibilities applicable to an independent contractor. Specific terms of the relationship, including revenue share, payment procedures, service expectations, and termination provisions, will be governed by a separate written independent contractor agreement.
