• Rounding to all areas of the hospital and exterior of the facility, includes MOB and hospice house.
• Responding to security events, including those involving visitors, patients and associates.
• Assistance with development, management and revision of the security program.
• Conducting risk assessments.
• Mitigating security events.
• Responds to all safety concerns.
• Responds to emergencies (Code Blue, Code Red, etc.).
• Inspects fire extinguishers and other general safety duties as assigned.

• Maintains confidentiality.
• Provides necessary support to departments and co‑workers, i.e. assisting with patient care within allowable limits.
• Establishing rapport with associated and providers.
• Supporting the quality department functions (checklists, reports, etc.).
• Frequently accesses email to stay up to date on information within the organization and provides a way of communication between staff members.
• Performs all procedures according to established policies and procedures of OCH and adheres to legal compliance policies and other regulatory issues.
• Maintains BLS Healthcare provider status.
• Just in time training for co‑workers relevant to positions.
