Spectrum Medical Physics is seeking a full time Therapy Medical Physicist based in Springfield, OH to join our growing team.

A successful candidate will be an integral member of the Spectrum team but be able to work independently at client sites providing the highest level of clinical service. • This position is based in Springfield, OH
• This clinic is equipped with Varian Truebeam and Elekta Versa
• This facility also has a Pinnacle, Mosaiq currently but moving to Aria
• This clinic has an incredibly welcoming team
• Roughly 40 patients per day

• Perform weekly and monthly radiation measurements, as well as yearly calibration on all treatment units.
• Monitor equipment in the Radiation Oncology Department to ensure that it is functioning correctly and safely.
• Maintain regulatory agency records and reports.
• Analyze alternative treatment plans and supervise dosimetry treatment planning functions.
• Implement assessment/treatment and care based on the developmental stages of the patient.
• Perform additional duties, as needed.

• Master’s Degree and/or PhD in Medical Physics.
• A board certification by the American Board of Radiology in Therapeutic Medical Physics, or board eligibility as demonstrated by graduation from a CAMPEP accredited residency in therapy physics.
• 2+ years of clinical Therapy Medical Physics experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interpret regulations.
