Senior Helpers – Caregiver (New Castle, PA)

• Companion caregivers serve as companions, performing safety checks, meal preparation, choosing clothing, playing games, running errands, cleaning up, and providing emotional support.
• Personal caregivers assist with bathing, dressing, dental hygiene, medication reminders, and general mobility. Some caregivers hold certifications such as CNA, HHA, or PCA, but these are not required.

Individuals who have cared for a family member, worked as a full‑time parent or homemaker, or have experience in assisted living, skilled nursing, senior homes, or senior centers are ideal. Experience as a teacher, child care worker, or retired professionals who wish to give back is also welcome. Certifications such as Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aid (HHA), or Personal Care Aid (PCA) are an advantage.

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have a valid driver’s license and car insurance
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have a high school diploma or GED
• No felons
