Our multigenerational respiratory department uses a strong skillset to provide care in our Level Two Trauma Center, Adult Critical Care units and general care units.

Corewell Health Hospital Trenton is a 193-bed acute care teaching hospital that sponsors nine university‑affiliated residency programs. The hospital opened its doors to Trenton and its surrounding communities in 1961 and became part of Corewell Health in September 2014. In addition to providing comprehensive medical and surgical care for its patients, the hospital offers all private beds, a medical and surgical intensive care unit and obstetrical care.
Scopeof Work
Under minimal direction, the Registered Respiratory Therapist implements and evaluates diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory services to assist physicians in the diagnosis and management of patients with cardiopulmonary and related disorders; participates in the education of patients, students, staff and physicians; provides technical support for all equipment related to the practice of Respiratory Care; assists with general department functions.
Qualifications- Associate's Degree Respiratory Therapy
- Eligible for position after attainment of RRT NBRC status.
- Required LIC-Respiratory Therapist
- State of Michigan - Upon Hire required CRT-Respiratory Therapist Registry - NBRC National Board for Respiratory Care
- Upon Hire required CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association
- Upon Hire required Or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross
