Job SummaryPerforms routine clinical and administrative duties to support patient care in a primary care setting. Works under the supervision of a provider and assists with patient assessments, specimen collection, and patient education.
Responsibilities- Follow‑up on reported issues and assist with service recovery.
- Assist with patient assessments and treatments under provider supervision.
- Obtain and accurately document vital signs, height and weight, brief history, medications, allergies and required screenings.
- Perform basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection, including phlebotomy, splint application and procedural tray/room set‑up.
- Activate MyChart Accounts when needed and ensure Telehealth connectivity for scheduled appointments.
- Conduct administrative duties such as scanning, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
- Maintain equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning/disinfection per protocol.
- Manage all inbox messages and patient phone calls, and round with patients to ensure an excellent patient experience.
- Review documents on social determinants of health, provide education/resources, and monitor changes in patient condition.
- Document patient care provided, provide discharge instructions, and follow‑up with patients as needed.
- Recognize and seek help in emergent situations and review patient charts to ensure imaging and pertinent information is available for appointments.

- Fingerprint Screening (FINGERPRNT)
- Additional:
Must complete a Level II Criminal History record check.
No prior work experience required. Candidates may be recent graduates of an accredited EMT or Medical Assistant program or have six (6) months of patient care experience.
