Position Overview

Caregiver – REM West Virginia. Full‑time overnight shift (Friday‑Sunday, 7 p.m.–7 a.m.). Driver’s license required. Compensation: $14.75 per hour with On Demand Pay Options.

• Develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals served.
• Support participants with developmental goals such as budgeting, dental hygiene, exercise, and nutrition.
• Assist with personal hygiene, dressing, bathing, toileting, and other personal care needs.
• Provide support to individuals with behavioral challenges and complex needs, including autism and related conditions.
• Take initiative to help participants become part of the community and enjoy their favorite activities.
• Demonstrate ownership and trust from leaders to act in the best interest of participants.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred:
  Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination.
• Ability to cook, clean, assist with personal care, and remain calm and problem‑solve in stressful situations.
• Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance (required for some positions).
