CERTIFIED SURGICAL TECHNICIAN PRN POSITION

Assists in providing care to surgical patients in accordance with hospital departmental policies and established standards of care and practice defined by the State of Kentucky. Other duties include stocking, replenishing, preparing and/or selecting supplies and equipment for storage or use during surgical procedures. Assists in maintaining cleanliness in the Operating Room to ensure a safe patient environment. Sterilizes equipment.

• Certified in Surgery Technology
• Experience in sterile processing (a plus)
• BLS required
• Experience with colonoscopies, EGD’s, and surgical eye procedures (preferred)
