Direct Support Professional / Advanced Behavioral Homes
We are hiring for a Direct Support Professional role in Trenton, TN (IDD) where you will provide support to individuals and/or groups with intellectual and developmental disabilities and other challenges.
Type: Regular
Pay Rate: $19.00/hr
Schedule: 4p-12p, including some weekends with multiple available schedules.
Position Requirements- At least 18 years of age
- Valid driver’s license
- Regularly required to lift 30 lbs.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 70 lbs.
- Must be able to pull a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Must be able to squat, kneel, crawl, crouch, climb, and stop.
- Must be able to regularly use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- Required to regularly stand and walk.
- Must demonstrate proficiency in CPR from floor level with hands, knees, standing, and lifting.
- Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision.
- Assist with Health and Safety Procedures
- Assist with People Supported Development
- Assist with Person Supported Community Life
- Provide support to team members and supervisors
- Assist with person‑centered plan and outcomes
- Assist with medical requests
- Assist with data collection and reporting
