Elk Grove Adult and Community Education - Sacramento, CA 95828. Position Type:
Part Time. Salary Range: $20.00 - $25.00 hourly.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 1:00pm – 5:00pm. Applicants must be available during these hours to be considered.

• Assist students with skills associated with the scope of practice for their designated subject.
• Assist the lead instructor in evaluating, reporting, and recording student performance and progress.
• Support the lead instructor with all required skill labs, grading class assignments, and exams.
• Prepare students to transition to an externship.
• Help students develop an understanding of values, attitudes, and ideals appropriate to the health care profession.
• Serve as a professional role model for students.
• Maintain current knowledge in the subject matter area and employ effective communication strategies.

• At least 1 year of experience as an EMT, paramedic, or RN.
• 1 year of training and/or supervisory experience preferred.
• Must hold a current certificate/license to practice as a Paramedic or EMT in the state of California.
• Thorough understanding of EMS training equipment.
• Comfortable with computers and technology.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
