CT Technologist – Wellington

Sign‑On Bonus: $2,500.

Akumin is a leading provider of outpatient radiology and oncology services. We are hiring a full‑time CT Technologist at our Wellington facility.

• Ensure patient safety, including pre‑screening for contraindications to radiation and contrast injections and use of aseptic injection techniques.
• Produce high‑quality diagnostic CT images.
• Effectively communicate with customers and radiologists as needed.
• Train new technologists and/or Patient Coordinators.
• Troubleshoot the scanner, coach, and peripheral equipment (including monitors and PACS).

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience;
  Associate’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• Registered Computed Tomography Technologist with ARRT.
• Certification by NMTCB in Computed Tomography acceptable in lieu of ARRT registry where state permits.
• State medical imaging license where applicable.
• CPR certification.
• Active state driver’s license (mid‑day moves).
• Strong customer service, organizational, and multi‑tasking skills.
• Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs.
