Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join an outpatient clinic in Corydon, IN as a traveling Physical Therapist where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location.

Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active Indiana Physical Therapy license is required to start the assignment. Outpatient physical therapy experience required. Client specifies no new graduates. Experience completing comprehensive evaluations, writing functional treatment plans and goals, and documenting using approved formats in compliance with regulatory and payer guidelines. Demonstrated competency in safe patient handling and materials handling per clinic policies.

Ability to supervise and delegate discipline-specific therapy services and to participate in student clinical education when assigned. Preferred: prior experience working in outpatient settings with a focus on return-to-community functional programs.

Schedule:

5x8 shift pattern. Corydon is the site of Indiana’s first state capitol and the Corydon Historic District is within the city center, located about 30 minutes from the Ohio River and approximately 45 minutes to Louisville, KY. The area offers access to hiking and boating opportunities at O'Bannon Woods State Park (about 20 minutes) and Patoka Lake (about 50 minutes), supporting an active, outdoor lifestyle.
