Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager (Health, IT) to join our IT team. This position will be full-time, hybrid, and is a contract position.
What You'll Do
- Lead Health Information Network (HIN) initiatives that increase provider adoption, engagement, and utilization across the healthcare ecosystem
- Develop and manage program plans, timelines, risks, deliverables, and stakeholder communications while ensuring adherence to project management best practices
- Serve as the primary liaison between state agencies, healthcare providers, internal teams, and third‑party vendors
- Design and implement performance metrics, dashboards, and reporting frameworks to measure campaign effectiveness and provider engagement
- Analyze HIN data, campaign results, and stakeholder feedback to identify trends, opportunities, and areas requiring strategic adjustment
- Create executive‑level presentations and reports for Department of Health leadership and other state stakeholders
- Design, deploy, and analyze complex stakeholder surveys using tools such as Survey Monkey, Qualtrics, Novi Survey, or similar platforms
- Develop actionable recommendations based on survey findings, provider feedback, and program performance data
- Translate complex health IT concepts, interoperability standards, and data exchange processes into clear, business‑friendly communications
- Create educational materials, presentations, and outreach content that demonstrate the value of HIN participation
- Develop and execute provider recruitment and engagement strategies to expand HIN membership and participation
- Build and maintain relationships with healthcare organizations, providers, administrators, and community partners
- Design and deliver training programs, coaching materials, and knowledge resources to support outreach teams and supervisors
- Partner with vendors to define reporting, dashboard, analytics, and operational requirements
- Monitor vendor performance and ensure deliverables meet quality standards, business objectives, and contractual expectations
- Identify program challenges, remove barriers to adoption, and proactively drive solutions with minimal supervision
What You'll Need:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, or a related field
- 5+ years of program management experience within healthcare technology, health information exchange, interoperability, or related healthcare environments
- Experience working with state, regional, or enterprise Health Information Networks (HINs) or Health Information Exchanges (HIEs)
- Demonstrated success managing complex programs, vendors, stakeholders, and cross‑functional initiatives
- Strong background in healthcare data analytics, reporting, and performance measurement
- Experience designing surveys, conducting research, and translating findings into actionable business recommendations
- Proficiency with survey platforms such as Survey Monkey, Qualtrics, Novi Survey, or similar tools
- Experience creating dashboards and data visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or equivalent platforms
- Working knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards, including HL7, FHIR, Direct Messaging, and related frameworks
