As an Emergency Department Technician (EDT) at
** Bronson Battle Creek**, you'll work alongside physicians, nurses, EMS professionals, and other healthcare team members to care for patients during some of their most urgent and vulnerable moments.

From medical emergencies and injuries to unexpected illnesses and complex patient needs, you'll play an important role in helping patients receive timely, compassionate, and high-quality care.

* Assist nurses and providers with patient care and department operations
* Obtain and document vital signs, patient information, and clinical observations
* Perform phlebotomy on pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
* Perform 12-lead EKGs and assist with cardiac monitoring activities
* Conduct point-of-care testing, including blood glucose and urine pregnancy testing
* Assist with emergency response procedures and patient care interventions
* Assist with splinting, orthopedic procedures, and treatment preparation
* Prepare patients for provider examinations and procedures
* Transport patients throughout the hospital for testing, treatment, and admission
* Support patient mobility, comfort, and activities of daily living as needed
* Document patient care activities accurately in the electronic medical record
* Maintain a safe, organized, and well-stocked care environment

* PRN### Orientation Requirement Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN team members must be able to commit to full-time orientation hours during the first 6–8 weeks of employment.
