Wyomissing Health & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a compassionate and motivated PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our in-house rehabilitation team in Reading, Pennsylvania
. This is an excellent opportunity for a COTA looking for a flexible schedule while making a meaningful impact on the lives of residents in a Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation setting.
As part of our collaborative therapy team, you'll help residents maximize independence and improve their ability to perform everyday activities while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
ResponsibilitiesProvide skilled occupational therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
Implement individualized treatment plans for short-term rehabilitation and long-term care residents.
Assist residents in improving activities of daily living (ADLs), upper extremity function, mobility, coordination, and overall independence.
Monitor resident progress and communicate changes to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
Educate residents and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, adaptive equipment, and compensatory techniques.
Complete accurate and timely documentation using Net Health
.Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team to achieve the best possible patient outcomes.
Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations.
Current Pennsylvania Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license.
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Long-Term Care experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
