* Job Summary:

** The Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering quality imaging services in a patient-centered environment.

* Key Responsibilities:

*** Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures including abdominal, obstetric, vascular, and small parts
* Ensure high-quality imaging while prioritizing patient comfort and safety
* Review and verify physician orders and patient history prior to exams
* Collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff to ensure accurate diagnosis
* Maintain equipment and follow infection control procedures
* Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records in EMR systems
*
* Qualifications:

*** Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
* Required ARDMS RVT certification or ARRT Sonography, additional specialties certifications a plus (OB/GYN, Abdomen, etc.)
* Current BLS certification
