The Manager of Clinical Skills Education provides operational leadership and coordination for the first- and second-year clinical skills curriculum across all LMU - DCOM campuses. Reporting to the
Clinical Medicine Dean, Harrogate, this position coordinates the day-to-day logistics of laboratories, simulations, clinical skills instruction, assessments, and educational events while ensuring
consistent implementation across campuses. By managing operational and administrative functions, the Manager enables the Clinical Medicine Dean to focus on curriculum innovation, faculty recruitment and development, educational quality, and strategic growth of the clinical skills program

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Experience in higher education, healthcare, simulation, medical education, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting undergraduate medical education or clinical skills curricula.
  • Experience coordinating simulations, standardized patient activities, or laboratory instruction.
  • Experience with educational technology, scheduling systems, and event coordination
Physical Demands
  • Frequently sits, stands, and walks throughout laboratories and educational facilities.
  • Frequently lifts, carries, and moves educational equipment and supplies weighing up to 30 pounds.
  • Requires occasional evening, weekend, and inter-campus travel.
  • Requires frequent verbal communication and prolonged computer use.

Job Duty
  • Coordinate scheduling and operational support for clinical skills laboratories, simulations, standardized patient activities, workshops, and related educational events
  • Maintain the master calendar for first- and second-year clinical skills activities across all campuses
  • Coordinate room assignments, equipment needs, educational materials, and logistical support
  • Ensure operational consistency across campuses while accommodating local needs
  • Provide clerical and administrative support for the clinical skills curriculum
  • Coordinate clinical skills assessments, practical examinations, and related testing activities
  • Prepare course materials, schedules, attendance records, and operational documentation
  • Support onboarding and scheduling of faculty, facilitators, standardized patients, and guest instructors
  • Coordinate communication among faculty, simulation staff, standardized patient personnel, examination services, operations staff, and campus leadership
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for clinical skills operations
  • Identify workflow improvements and assist with implementation of operational enhancements
  • Support accreditation documentation and data collection related to clinical skills education
  • Maintain inventories of educational equipment and supplies and coordinate purchasing requests
  • Perform other duties as assigned
