At American Health Imaging, a partner of Lumexa Imaging, we are committed to delivering exceptional patient care through advanced imaging technology and a compassionate, patient-centered approach. We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused Multimodality (MRI/CT) Technologist to join our team full-time at our Westover Hills facility in San Antonio, TX.

Work Schedule:

Full-Time, Monday-Friday 12pm-8pm (40 hours per week) with no on-call requirements.

Position Summary:

The Multimodality Technologist (MRI/CT) is responsible for performing high-quality MRI and CT procedures in a fast-paced outpatient imaging environment. This role ensures patient safety, comfort, and accurate diagnostic imaging while delivering an exceptional patient experience. The ideal candidate is proficient in both MRI and CT imaging, demonstrates strong attention to detail, and is committed to providing outstanding patient care.

  • Perform MRI and CT procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
  • Ensure proper patient screening, positioning, and image quality for all examinations.
  • Monitor patients throughout procedures, ensuring their safety, comfort, and overall experience.
  • Administer contrast agents/media as directed and in accordance with physician orders, company policies, and applicable regulations.
  • Verify patient information, orders, and documentation for accuracy prior to imaging procedures.
  • Maintain MRI and CT equipment and promptly report any operational or maintenance concerns.
  • Adhere to all MRI safety, radiation safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with radiologists, technologists, and support staff to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional patient care.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of exam rooms and work areas.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited Registered Technologist program
  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
  • Registry in Computed Tomography (CT)
  • Registry in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) through ARRT, or current certification through ARMRIT
