Responsibilities:

• Safely transport patients to and from medical appointments, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations

• Provide exceptional care and comfort to patients during transportation, including monitoring vital signs and addressing any medical needs

• Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with patients, families, and healthcare caregivers

• Collaborate with transportation staff to ensure efficient and timely patient transportation

• Maintain accurate records and reports of patient transportation, including patient vital signs and any notable events

• Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

• Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Illinois

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Ability to lift, push, or pull patients as needed

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
