Full Time

Responsible for obtaining diagnostic quality radiographic images according to established guidelines. Schedules and observes time-management techniques according to departmental productivity and efficiency standards while ensuring a quality patient care experience.

• Graduate of a radiographer program.
• Mississippi licensure in Medical Radiation required.
• ARRT Registration in Radiology required.
• BLS Certification required.

• One year of clinical Radiation Technology experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Obtain diagnostic quality radiographic images according to established guidelines.
• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and ensure safety standards are met.
• Operate radiology equipment efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain image quality and proper documentation.
• Support departmental productivity and efficiency standards.
• Provide quality patient care and customer service throughout the imaging process.

• Maintain required licensure and certifications.
• Follow departmental and organizational policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate professionalism and effective communication.
• Promote patient safety, confidentiality, and quality care.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, and pull throughout the workday.
• Ability to assist patients with positioning and transfers.
• Ability to move and operate radiographic equipment safely.
