Job SummaryResponsible for obtaining diagnostic quality radiographic images according to established guidelines. Schedules and observes time-management techniques according to departmental productivity and efficiency standards while ensuring a quality patient care experience.
Minimum Qualifications- Graduate of a radiographer program.
- Mississippi licensure in Medical Radiation required.
- ARRT Registration in Radiology required.
- BLS Certification required.
- One year of clinical Radiation Technology experience in an acute care setting preferred.
- Obtain diagnostic quality radiographic images according to established guidelines.
- Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and ensure safety standards are met.
- Operate radiology equipment efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain image quality and proper documentation.
- Support departmental productivity and efficiency standards.
- Provide quality patient care and customer service throughout the imaging process.
- Maintain required licensure and certifications.
- Follow departmental and organizational policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate professionalism and effective communication.
- Promote patient safety, confidentiality, and quality care.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, and pull throughout the workday.
- Ability to assist patients with positioning and transfers.
- Ability to move and operate radiographic equipment safely.
