Schedule:
Mon‑Fri 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Full time + benefits.
- Perform venipuncture and other specimen collection (urine, oral fluid, blood) following established procedures.
- Accurately enter orders and specimen data into the system.
- Maintain cleanliness, proper storage of venipuncture equipment, and adherence to hygiene and dress code.
- Adhere to all healthcare regulations and company policies.
- Manage inventory of supplies and perform direct observation when required.
- Provide exceptional customer service, demonstrating compassion and professionalism.
- Assist with billing information entry, payment collection, and compliance.
- Communicate effectively with diverse patient populations and coworkers.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts and training.
- Current national phlebotomy certificate (NHA, ASCP, NCPT, etc.).
- At least 6 months of recent professional experience performing venipuncture in a healthcare setting.
- Phlebotomy certification from an accredited program; active state registration if required.
- Valid driver’s license/auto insurance for travel between clinics, or alternate transportation.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new technology.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Knowledge of PPE best practices, infection prevention protocols, HIPAA, OSHA, and related regulations.
- Ability to communicate clearly, remain composed in challenging situations, and demonstrate empathy.
