Position: Behavioral Health Clinician - Bilingual (Spanish)

Bilingual Clinicians

Family Centers offers health, education and human services to children, adults, and families living in Lower Fairfield County. Our counseling and mental health services help individuals, groups, couples and families resolve a wide range of personal and relationship issues. All services are facilitated by trained mental health professionals and provided in our licensed and accredited centers located in Greenwich and Stamford.

We are currently seeking bilingual clinicians to provide mental health services at our Greenwich and Stamford outpatient clinics. These clinicians will work closely with the care team at each location to provide integrated behavioral health care leading to improved health outcomes for our clients. These positions are in-person, full time roles.

Clinician responsibilities include:

  • Providing comprehensive assessments and psychotherapy to individuals (children and adults), families, couples, and groups in need of mental health treatment.
  • Identifying each client's psychosocial needs utilizing the Social Determinants of Health and providing referrals and resources.
  • Collaborating and providing mental health consultations to medical staff, and leading workshops and trainings related to mental health.

Requirements:

  • Licensed social worker (LCSW, LMSW, LPC, LPCA, LMFT) in Connecticut, or the ability to obtain CT licensure
  • Bilingual Spanish
  • Experience working with a wide range of populations
  • Strong clinical skills and experience using evidence-based models with adults, children and families
  • Ability to engage in therapeutic practices in accordance with all HIPAA, state, federal, licensing, and accrediting bodies
  • Knowledge and experience with electronic health records
  • Ability to work two evenings per week.

    Fully licensed clinicians working in our FQHC and SBHC programs may qualify for the National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Student Loan Repayment Program, which offers up to $75,000 in student loan repayment for primary medical, dental, and behavioral health clinicians. Clinicians who demonstrate Spanish-language proficiency may qualify for an additional $5,000 award.
