Baylor Scott & White Texas Urogynecology Associates is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) to join a collaborative urogynecology team led by Michael

E. Carley, MD.

This is a clinic-based, non-operative role supporting patients in Dallas and Waxahachie. The PA will practice with a high level of autonomy while collaborating closely with physicians and care teams.

  • 3 physicians
  • 6 APPs
  • No first assist responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments, histories, and physical exams
• Diagnose and manage urogynecologic conditions
• Order and interpret labs and diagnostic tests
• Develop and implement treatment plans
• Prescribe medications and therapies
• Perform in-office procedures, including:
• Bladder instillations
• Pelvic floor therapy with electrical stimulation
• Pessary fittings
• Vaginal swabs
• Urine specimen processing
• Urethral catheterization
• Provide patient education and counseling
• Manage pre- and post-procedure care
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams

• Strong clinical judgment and autonomy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail
• Ability to manage a fast-paced clinic environment
• Proficiency with EMR and productivity tools

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Active Texas PA license
• NCCPA certification
• BLS certification within 30 days
• Preferred:
  Experience in urogynecology, urology, or women's health
• Ability to work independently in a clinic-based setting

• Basic Life Support (BLS):
