At Silvis Center Rehab and Care, we're dedicated to providing comprehensive care to our patients. As a Speech-Language Pathologist SLP, you'll play a vital role in our multidisciplinary team, helping individuals of all ages communicate effectively and overcome speech, language, and swallowing disorders.

About the Role
  • Evaluate and diagnose speech and language disorders in patients of all ages, including children, adults, and seniors
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve communication skills, accents, and swallowing functions
  • Collaborate with occupational therapists, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Conduct patient assessments, therapy sessions, and progress evaluations
  • Keep accurate records of patient treatments, progress, and outcomes
Responsibilities
  • Speech-Language Pathology: Conduct speech and language assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide therapy sessions to patients with a range of communication disorders
  • Case Coordination: Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure seamless communication and coordinated care
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient assessments, treatments, and progress
  • Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and department operations
Requirements
  • Master's Degree: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) from an American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)-accredited program
  • Certifications: ASHA certification and State Licensure in Speech-Language Pathology, if required
  • Experience: Minimum of [insert minimum years of experience] years of experience in a healthcare setting
