Under the direction of the staff pharmacist and pharmacy supervisor, the Pharmacy technician assists in all technical aspects of prescription filling and dispensing activities, within the scope of their license. Duties include processing, filling and dispensing prescriptions as well as inventory management, medication delivery at bedside, prior authorizatio n, Mailout process, medication reconciliation and other duties as assigned.
Schedule:
Varied hours, depending on department needs, including weekends and holidays
Hourly Salary Range: $29.56–$42.46 (Union represented, step based salary depending on years of experience)
- Pharmacy Technician I (9283):
Less than 2 years of experience - Pharmacy Technician II (9282):
Equal to or more than 2 years of experience
Bargaining Unit: EX - AFSCME
