Sheltering Arms Institute is seeking a Physical Therapist PRN to join the inpatient team. The Physical Therapist provides quality, comprehensive, patient-centered physical therapy services including patient examination (ages 12+), development and administration of a treatment plan, documentation and communication with team members, and clinical direction and supervision to licensed/non-licensed personnel. Instructs therapy support staff, students, other team members, and patient and/or caregivers.
May rotate through clinical areas.
- Experience/expertise in inpatient rehabilitation
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapy educational program required.
- Virginia licensure to practice or eligibility and application for licensure by the Physical Therapy Board of the Virginia State Board of Health Professions required.
- Healthcare professionals CPR certification required.
- Doctoral degree from an accredited physical therapy programs and/or specialty practice certification preferred.
- Pay Rate:
Physical Therapist PRN - $55.00 per hour - These rates reflect our commitment to pay equity and market-competitive compensation.
- Final compensation depends on experience, skills, and internal equity.
