The University of Cincinnati seeks a Staff Clinician for its Counseling Center in Student Affairs. This role provides individual and group counseling, intake assessments, and crisis intervention to a diverse student population, supporting mental health, wellness, and academic success. The clinician will deliver outreach and workshops, collaborate with campus partners, and maintain thorough, confidential documentation. The position contributes to a student-centered, research-driven environment that values diversity, innovation, and community engagement, with opportunities for professional development within a comprehensive academic institution.
- Provide individual and group counseling to students addressing mental health, academic, and personal concerns
- Conduct intake assessments, crisis intervention, and safety planning as needed
- Develop and facilitate workshops and outreach programs that promote student wellness and resilience
- Collaborate with faculty, residence life, and campus partners to support student success and referrals
- Maintain accurate, confidential clinical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards
- Participate in case consultation, supervision, and professional development activities
- Contribute to initiatives that advance diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in counseling services
- Support assessment and quality-improvement efforts within the Counseling Center
