  • UT Health East Texas Physicians has 90 primary and specialty care clinics and eight urgent care centers in communities across the region. Affiliated with The University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine, we provide top-tier education, innovative research, and residency programs training future medical leaders.
Responsibilities

The Clinic Manager provides operational leadership and oversight for three locations:
Rusk Primary Care, Frankston Primary Care, and Jacksonville Urgent Care. This multi-site leadership role is responsible for ensuring efficient day-to-day clinic operations, supporting physicians and staff, and delivering a positive patient experience across both Primary Care and Urgent Care settings.

  • Manage and coordinate daily operations across three separate clinic locations, ensuring consistent workflows, service standards, and operational performance.
  • Oversee business and clinical support operations, including patient scheduling, medical records, billing processes, communications, staffing, IT coordination, supply management, and facility needs.
  • Lead, coach, train, and develop clinic staff across multiple locations, providing ongoing performance feedback and ensuring appropriate staffing and coverage.
  • Partner closely with physicians, providers, clinical teams, and leadership to identify operational needs, resolve barriers, and support high-quality patient care.
  • Monitor clinic workflows and performance to improve patient access, efficiency, patient experience, and overall practice operations.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable OSHA, CLIA, organizational, and other regulatory requirements across all assigned locations.
  • Oversee purchasing, vendor relationships, inventory control, equipment, maintenance, security, and other operational needs.
  • Promote consistent processes and communication across Rusk Primary Care, Frankston Primary Care, and Jacksonville Urgent Care while recognizing the different operational needs of Primary Care and Urgent Care.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Job Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Three (3) or more years of progressive experience in a medical office
Preferred

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • Two (2) or more years of experience as a medical clinic manager
