Job SummaryResponsible for providing massage-based physical evaluations of assigned patients and clients. Applies a range of appropriate therapeutic treatments, including manual massage therapy. Develops and implements individualized therapeutic massage treatment plans. Ensures effective delivery of care to promote patient well-being and recovery.
Essential Functions- Applies physical evaluation techniques to assess patient condition.
- Develops individualized treatment plans based on clinical data and protocols.
- Performs manual therapy and therapeutic interventions as indicated.
- Operates therapeutic devices for various treatment modalities.
- Documents therapy and maintains patient confidentiality in accordance with policies.
- Provides education to patients, families, clinicians, and the community.
- Collaborates with team members and other departments to ensure quality care.
- Supports compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
- Reports and evaluates equipment issues and participates in equipment assessment.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
High school diploma or equivalent and vocational/technical training in a designated technical area
Experience Requirement0-2 years of experience in a healthcare, clinical setting, or a relevant area. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. All experience must be paid and in the same related field. Part-time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week. Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted.
