PHIL seeks a detail‑oriented, reliable Pharmacy Technician based in Kentucky to support our growing pharmacy operations team. The role focuses on accurate preparation, processing, and distribution of prescription medications, supporting the pharmacist in day‑to‑day operations, maintaining compliance, ensuring quality, and helping patients receive timely care. The technician reports to the Pharmacist In Charge.
Responsibilities- Accurately prepare and label prescriptions under the direction of a licensed pharmacist.
- Enter prescription data and verify patient information in pharmacy systems.
- Manage inventory and assist in ordering pharmaceutical supplies.
- Communicate with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including those required by the Ohio Board of Pharmacy.
- Support smooth workflow by maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve prescription‑related issues.
- Adapt to changing priorities, embrace evolving responsibilities, and perform effectively in a dynamic startup environment where roles and business needs may shift rapidly.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Active Kentucky Pharmacy Technician license.
- 1–3 years of experience in a pharmacy setting, preferably retail or mail‑order.
- Proficiency with pharmacy software systems and basic computer applications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
