Sheltering Arms Institute is seeking a full-time
Occupational Therapist
to join our inpatient team. The Occupational Therapist provides quality, comprehensive, patient-centered occupational therapy services including patient examination (ages 12+), development and administration of a treatment plan, documentation and communication with team members, and clinical direction and supervision to licensed/non-licensed personnel. Instructs therapy support staff, students, other team members, and patient and/or caregivers. May rotate through clinical areas.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Experience in an inpatient rehab setting preferred.
Education/

Certifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program required.
  • Master’s or doctoral degree from an accredited occupational therapy program and/or a specialty practice certification preferred.
  • Virginia licensure to practice or eligibility and application for licensure by the Occupational Therapy Board of the Virginia State Board of Health Professions required.
  • Healthcare professionals CPR certification required.
Compensation:
  • $34.50 - $47.42 per hour
  • This range reflects our commitment to pay equity and market‑competitive compensation.
