Description:
We are seeking a skilled Cyto Tech to join our team.
This position involves replacing a current technician who is unable to extend.
The tech will be responsible for various tasks related to cytology.
Responsibilities include assisting with on-site procedures and specimen collection.
Candidates should have experience with charting systems.
Preferred experience includes working in a community hospital setting.
This role requires skills in ascitic fluid handling, staining, and making smears.
The candidate should be familiar with quality control and assurance processes.
Experience with inpatient and outpatient lab work is a plus.
The patient population will include neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
This position may involve floating to nearby facilities as needed.
Candidates must provide two supervisory references.
