The Medical Records Coordinator manages medical records requests, document processing, scanning, insurance eligibility verification, and physician line support. This role requires strong knowledge of patient confidentiality, release of information procedures, insurance verification, and medical documentation workflows. The Medical Records Coordinator helps ensure timely, accurate, and compliant handling of patient information while supporting efficient daily office operations.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework in healthcare administration or medical office operations preferred
- Prior experience in medical records, healthcare administration, or front office support preferred
- Experience with electronic medical records systems, preferably ECW
The referenced base salary range represents the low and high end of SCN'S salary range for this position. Some candidates will not be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. Exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate's geographic location, skills, work experience, market conditions, internal equity, responsibility factor and span of control, education/training and other qualifications.
