Methodist Health System is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) to join our team in Texas. In this critical role, you will be responsible for providing immediate care and forensic examination to victims of sexual assault in a supportive, therapeutic manner.

• Conduct physical and forensic examinations of sexual assault victims.
• Collect and document evidence, and maintain a chain of custody in line with legal standards and guidelines.
• Provide crisis intervention, emotional support, and referrals to additional resources.
• Testify in court regarding the medical forensic examination findings as required.
• Collaborate with law enforcement, legal teams, and medical professionals.
• Participate in continuous education to remain current on best practices related to sexual assault care.

• Strong clinical skills in emergency medicine or trauma care.
• Proficient in forensic examination techniques.
• Excellent communication and empathetic skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
• Certified as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE-A for adults/adolescents or SANE-P for pediatrics) preferred.
