Location: Northern
Join our dedicated team at Eastbrook Healthcare Center and make a difference in the lives of residents every day! We are currently seeking a compassionate and dependable Respiratory Therapist / Respiratory Technician to provide high-quality respiratory care in a fast-paced Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) environment.
Shift: M-F
Responsibilities- Provide respiratory therapy treatments and breathing treatments to residents
- Monitor oxygen therapy, pulse oximetry, and respiratory status
- Assist with trach care, nebulizer treatments, CPAP/BiPAP management, and ventilator support as needed
- Work closely with nurses, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to improve resident outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation in EMR/EHR systems
- Respond promptly to respiratory emergencies and changes in condition
- Educate residents and families on respiratory care plans
- Active Respiratory Therapist (RT/RRT/CRT) license or Respiratory Technician certification (state requirements apply)
- Experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, post-acute care, nursing home, or SNF setting preferred
- Knowledge of pulmonary care, oxygen management, and respiratory equipment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
