The mission of Behavioral Treatment Services is to provide accessible, integrated, and inclusive behavioral health services supporting clients throughout the criminal justice system. Behavioral Treatment Services provides a continuum of specialized adult offender substance abuse and other treatment modalities. Being a part of the BTS team means being a part of the forefront of Colorado's behavioral health and criminal justice programs and initiatives.
Our goals are to provide a space toward client healing, reduce criminal recidivism, assist clients in working towards personal growth, and collaborate with the system and client to work towards mutually agreeable goals. BTS provides clinical services, court related services, and specialized programs for adults involved in the criminal justice system. BTS provides services at community corrections sites (including residential treatment programs), outpatient locations, jail based, and court liaison programs in 9 counties across Colorado.

STIRT Milieu Coordinator guides clients toward pro-social behavior and protects the safety of the staff, clients and community at large through monitoring and enforcing policies, rules and regulations with STIRT.

Location: Lakewood, CO
Hours: Saturday & Sunday 6am-6:30pm
Salary: $20.17/hr plus a shift differential for weekend hours
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Support, promote and adhere to the mission, values and Code of Conduct of Intervention Inc.
- Reflect BTS's commitment to treating all persons with dignity and respect.
- Maintain confidentiality of client and company information.
- Carry out all duties/responsibilities in accordance with Company values, policies and procedures, applicable laws and contractual obligations.
- Educate clients on facility policies, rules and regulations and complete program orientation
- In accordance with BTS and Intervention policy and procedures, ensure clients are adhering to facility rules and regulations
- Support, educate and train clients and staff on appropriate safety and security procedures.
- Communicate incidents, issues and other relevant information accurately and timely to appropriate staff through recording entries into computer system, department/facility log and/or personally as appropriate.
- Review department/facility log and other communication systems at least once daily to keep informed of issues.
- Conduct internal and external rounds throughout the facility to ensure safety and monitor compliance with policies.
- Monitor facility and client population for improper conduct or unauthorized persons inside facility, investigate and take appropriate action.
- Support and enforce behavioral guidelines/sanctions for acceptable and unacceptable behaviors.
- Report client violations timely and appropriately. Investigate violations as directed.
