The Texas Behavioral Health Center is anewly completed state-funded psychiatric hospital opening in Dallas’ Southwestern Medical District that is owned by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) and operated by UT Southwestern Medical Center.
When fully operational, the 505,000-square-foot facility will house 292 beds – 200 for adult patients and 92 for children and adolescents. As DFW’s first state-funded behavioral health hospital, it is designed to deliver state-of-the-art, patient-centered care in a modern and healing environment. The center provides comprehensive behavioral health treatment and features private patient rooms, abundant access to natural light and nature, and thoughtfully designed spaces that promote recovery.

The hospital will also provide training to all behavioral health disciplines.

Join our growing UT Southwestern Human Resources team as a Senior Employee Relations Consultant and help launch the first state psychiatric hospital in Dallas-Fort Worth. As an Employee Relations Consultant, you will play a critical role in launching our new facility by building a positive, compliant, and high-performing workplace from day one. Serving as an advisor and subject matter human resources expert, you will help to shape the culture and employee experience within this growing operation.

In this senior consultant role, you will provide guidance on policy interpretation, play a key role in facilitating advice and problem resolution on employee matters, ensuring compliance with workplace policies, training, and health/safety requirements. As a Senior Employee Relations Consultant, you will play a valuable part in creating positive and proactive employee relations across the Texas Behavioral Health Center. We are looking for someone with prior Human Resources experience, specifically in employee relations supporting a large customer/employee group.

Prior experience working in a Behavioral Health Environment and/or Hospital is preferred.
