Physical Therapist Assistant PTA Job Summary

Spring Creek Healthcare Center, a premier 179-bed nursing home located in the heart of Perth Amboy, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team! As a PTA, you will play a vital role in enhancing the rehabilitation outcomes of our patients and residents, while working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities
  • Assist licensed physical therapists in providing high-quality patient care, focusing on achieving optimal functional outcomes

  • Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans in accordance with patient goals and needs

  • Implement evidence-based interventions, including exercises, modalities, and other physical therapy techniques

  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination

  • Participate in patient education and discharge planning to promote independence and successful community reintegration

  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatment and progress

Requirements
  • Associate's degree or higher in Physical Therapist Assistant studies

  • Current New Jersey licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant
