Program SummaryCochegan House is a residential work release program providing case management, job readiness, and substance and mental health education to adult males who are under the supervision of DOC so they can successfully reenter their communities and avoid committing new offenses.
Position SummaryThis Residential Aide- will utilize a strengths-based & client-centered approach, providing structure and supervision to justice involved men as they re-enter the community after a period of incarceration. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals in recovery and/or those who are justice involved or have a client/customer support background and be highly motivated to help others make positive change.
An ability to be both structured and compassionate while maintaining professional and respectful boundaries is required.
- High School Diploma / GED and 2+ years relevant experience as a Residential Aide or equivalent or an Associate's Degree
- Valid Driver’s License
- Regular and predictable attendance is required
If selected for employment with The Connection, newly hired employees will be required to attend a two (2) day mandatory New Hire Orientation at our Roscommon office located in Middletown.
