Surgical Technologist- Waukesha Memorial Hospital- FTE

What You Will Do:

As a Surgical Technologist, you will function as the scrub person during invasive and operative procedures. Under the direct supervision of an RN or physician, you will facilitate a physician's performance of therapeutic, diagnostic, and invasive procedures. You will ensure the operating room is safe, equipment is functioning, and patient safety is maximized throughout the procedure.

• Education:Associate’s Degree. Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program (CST) preferred or equivalent military training.
• Experience:Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a hospital operating room setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association or ability to obtain upon hire
• AST membership preferred
