Job Details The Memory and Perception Laboratory at the Jefferson Moss Rehabilitation Research Institute (JMRRI) located in Elkins Park, PA, has an opening for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow starting immediately. Under the direction of Andrew Persichetti, Ph.D., the postdoctoral fellow will use high-resolution 7T imaging and layer-fMRI methods to investigate how feed forward and feedback information are dis sociable across layers of human cortex.

Main areas of interest are the functional organization of cortical layers in regions involved in high-level vision and semantic memory. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the fast growing field of layer-fMRI in humans while developing an independent research program. The lab also conducts related experiments using behavioral methods, eye tracking, TMS, and conventional BOLD fMRI. As a postdoc in the lab, you will also have the opportunity and resources to contribute to those lines of research as time permits.
