JOB SUMMARYResponsible for the preparation of quality foods for patients, associates and guests under the supervision of the Chef.
JOB QUALIFICATIONSEducation:
High school degree/GED required and/or 3-5 years of experience. Basic reading, writing, and mathematics skills required.
Licensure:
None
Experience:
Six months experience in hospital, institutional, or restaurant food preparation preferred.
Skills:
None
Works in a typical institution kitchen setting subject to the hazards associated with such an environment including wet surfaces, cleaning and cooking equipment, and sharp instruments. Moderate amounts of lifting, stooping, stretching and bending. Extended periods of standing or walking are required.
